Sunday marks World Consumer Rights Day. And consumer rights and interests are under the spotlight.

China's State Administration for Industry and Commerce has announced the top ten consumer complaints in 2008.

Issues regarding mobile phones top the list. Many consumers say they are not satisfied with mobile phone quality, as well as lackluster after-sales service.

Many consumers were also not satisfied with problems relating to clothing, shoes and telecom services.

Consumers also reported an increasing number of problems with the postal sector, home appliance maintenance and jewelry. In particular, complaints about postal service increased 64 percent over last year.
