Dog takes mighty stand against developers

Workers are unable to demolish an empty building because one tenant's dog is refusing to leave.

A pet dog kept by a resident in Chongqing municipality remained in the empty building for six months.

The dog, Guai Guai, refused to move out and stayed behind after its owner moved to a new home. Every day, it stood on the roof of the building to guard it. The owner tried many times to take the animal to his new house, but he failed. "The owner's house was on the 8th floor of the building and the dog stopped on the 6th floor and never wanted to go down any more," the neighbor said.
