Chinese FM to visit the US

BEIJING -- Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi will pay a working visit to the United States from March 9 to 13, Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang announced Saturday.

Yang is to pay the visit as guest of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the spokesman said.

The two sides will exchange views on the growth of Sino-US relations in the new phase and regional and global issues of common concern, he said.
