Caring classmates help boy out of coma

A boy in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province, woke up from a coma with help from his loyal teacher and classmates who kept calling out to him.

Chen Tian, 12, a first grader, has suffered from a brain obstruction caused by an unknown virus, since Nov 30 last year.

After he was taken to the hospital, Chen fell into a deep coma and his 44 classmates and teacher took turns to visit his ward.

The students also recorded their voices and played a tape of it in his room.

Chen woke up on Sunday and is expected to recover.
