Passion for kungfu leads man into mountain cave

A 53-year-old man moved into a cave in Wushi township, Hunan province, four years ago to practice kungfu.

Xu Wenyi, who has obsessed about becoming a martial arts swordsman, settled in the mountain cave in 2005 when he lost interest in his wife.

He lives in the 100 sq m cave that he dug and relies on vegetables he grows near the cave along with four fishing ponds.

Xu said he has no plans to move back to the village until he has mastered the kungfu movements he described.
