Monkey attack sends woman to hospital

A monkey kicked an elderly woman down a two-meter deep ditch and seriously injured her during a tour in Emei mountain in Sichuan province.

Zhou Changju, 60, from Chongqing, went to the mountain with her family and a monkey jumped on her shoulder.

Zhou was taken to a hospital and doctors said that the woman who weighed only 35 kg could not bear the monkey's kicking and suffered broken bones.

Zhou is undergoing tests in the hospital and was talking to the tour operators about compensation.
