The old man and the sea, lost and then rescued

An old boat keeper drifted on the sea for 10 days before he was rescued last Tuesday.

Xu, 60, was sleeping on the boat on which he worked when the anchor's rope was loosened by another passing boat, causing his boat to start drifting away.

He did not know how to operate the boat and had to drift. Fortunately, there was enough food on the boat.

The crew on a passing boat rescued Xue when they saw a fire he started to draw attention to himself.
