Sleeping train rider misses stop, wakes up in Hainan

A university student on his way home to Leizhou, in Guangdong province, fell asleep and woke up in Haikou, Hainan province on Wednesday.

Zhong Ming whose destination was the Leizhou station in the western part of Guangdong, discovered after he woke up that the train had crossed the Qiongzhou strait and he was in Haikou.

The train crossed on a ferry while the boy slept. Zhong returned home the next day with the help of railway police.
