Waiter, there's a mouse in the soup

A Shanghai woman and her colleagues were enjoying a meal recently when a mouse jumped into their soup.

The woman, Ding, was having lunch with three colleagues at the Zhending Chicken restaurant in the city's Wujin Road earlier this month when the rodent dropped on her head and then into their chicken soup.

The wet, agile mouse managed to run out of the soup, and fled.

The restaurant owner apologized to them, cancelled their bill, and promised to pay their laundry bills.
