From budding boss to construction worker

A college student in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, is being thought of as a "madman" after he gave up a budding business to become a construction worker.

Liu Baoqiang majors in engineering management in the Wuhan University of Science and Technology and earned more than 3,000 yuan ($440) a month selling sportswear since he opened a shop near the campus last September.

But he decided to give up his enterprise to become a construction worker when he graduates in July.

Liu said he would have to give up his major if he continues to run his store after graduation and it would be "a big waste".
