A man in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province hired an old man to write a eulogy for his late pet dog.

Zhu purchased a pet dog and named it Huashuai late last month.

The pooch followed Zhu wherever he went. But it did not eat, grew thin and died on Saturday.

Zhu buried Huashuai and then paid a writer to write a eulogy for it.

In it Zhu promises that his love for Huashuai will prevent him from ever feeding another dog.
