Marathon mahjong man dies from heart attack

A 50-year-old in Changchun, Jilin province, died from a heart attack after playing mahjong for 15 hours straight during the New Year holiday.

Chen played mahjong with his neighbors in a drugstore near his home and took only a three-hour break, before collapsing at the table.

Medics who arrived at the scene later found Chen's heartbeat and breathing had stopped, and that he suffered from extreme exhaustion.
