Police shoot rampaging bull at middle school

Police shot a rampaging bull on a middle school campus Thursday in Urumqi, capital of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

A local resident, Maimaiti, bought the bull in a market and prepared to send it home. But the bull broke the ropes tying it down and ran down a road and into Urumqi No 43 Middle School. The bull injured several people trying to get it under control.

Armed police killed the bull after they too failed to get it under control.
