A man who advertised a service for women to vent their anger against him has aroused controversy among netizens.

Seeing his ad online, a women reporter from Changchun, Jilin province, discovered the man promised to charge the frustrated woman 100 yuan ($14.60) for the chance to insult him by either cursing him or striking him with hands or feet.

He said he would run a shop with the service for female customers who need to let off steam.

Qiu Deming, a local lawyer, said such a service was against the law.

"Such services have not only violated public morality but the country's laws," he said.

Qiu warned potential customers that they could be liable if they harmed the unusual entrepreneur.
