'New Pappa' seeks wet nurse with college degree

The resident, netnamed New Papa, posted a notice on a local website on Monday saying he needed a college graduate to breastfeed his six-month-old baby for 5,000 yuan ($730) per month. Netizens grumbled it was too much to expect a wet nurse to hold a college degree and that milk from a healthy woman was a more important point. "It is no scientific basis to say that the level of education has anything to do with the milk quality of a wet nurse and the employer should check the wet nurse's health and history of infectious disease," a local obstetrics and gynecology doctor said.
