Romeo falls into river trying to kiss timid flame

A young man fell into a river in an errant attempt to kiss his girlfriend in Zhengzhou, Henan province last Tuesday.

Wang Qiang and Xiao Li, both in their 20s and employed by a local restaurant, were getting amorous along the Jinshui River bank in the city's Zijingshan road around 1 am.

Xiao sought police help after Wang fell into the river, but her heartthrob suffered only a good drenching.

Xiao explained Wang fell into the river after she dodged him when he tried to kiss her.
