Speeding bike rider loses wife around sharp bend

A speeding tricycle driver was oblivious to the fact his wife had been flung from his carriage in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province over the weekend.

Police found the woman still asleep in the rolled-up quilt after her husband had turned too sharply at a crossroads around 5 am last Friday.

The woman was unhurt, but her husband didn't realize he had lost his most precious possession until police, who pursued him for hundreds of meters, caught up and took him back to his wife.

The officers then lectured the man on the dangers of driving too fast.
