Migrant worker to share 7m jackpot with brother

The 20-something man, surnamed Luo, came to Chongqing from his hometown in Jiangsu province a year ago and has worked as a migrant worker since he was 16. "I work with my younger brother in the city and we worked very hard just to survive," said the lucky lottery player. "I like to buy tickets but I never thought I would win money. I only wanted to have a hope of better living." After tax, Luo will take home 5.6 million yuan, of which he will give 2 million to his brother. (Chongqing Evening News) |
