Hubby divorces wife for refusing to sleep with him

A man in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province, tried to divorce his wife after she refused to sleep with him following their nuptials on Feb 8.

The man, surnamed Zhang, 30, a resident of the city's Jinniu district, met Tang in June last year and the couple registered for marriage five months later. They held the wedding ceremony in February, but afterwards Tang refused to have sex with her new hubby.

Suspecting his wife, who once refused to take a premarital medical examination, of having physical defects, Zhang requested a divorce and 90,000 yuan ($13,100) compensation, including 50,000 yuan in spiritual damages and 40,000 yuan for wedding expenses.
