Toxic piano behind baby's incessant crying
(China Daily)
Updated: 2008-11-19 08:56 A new piano was recently found to be behind a newborn baby's abnormally frequent crying in Harbin, Heilongjiang province. The parents of the 3-month-old child grew increasingly distressed recently when their baby cried all day and didn't sleep. They took their infant to a local hospital for medical examinations, but doctors found nothing unusual. When Wang, the husband, engaged the services of an indoor air test team days ago, it found high levels of formaldehyde in the baby's room. Wang and his family quickly realized a piano placed in the baby's room was the culprit. (Helongjiang Morning News) |
