Popular and tenacious teacher dies on the job

A highly regarded teacher who recently passed away has been remembered by thousands of local people in Yuzhong county, Gansu province.

Jing Zhengcui, 44, a maths teacher at No 6 High School in Yuzhong county, felt sick on Nov 7 but continued teaching class.

That afternoon she fell down beneath the blackboard and was soon sent to a local hospital.

But unfortunately she died despite emergency treatment.

Doctors said long-term hard work had brought on a cerebral hemorrhage.
