The re-entry module of the Shenzhou VII spacecraft arrived in Beijing Tuesday, two days after its safe landing in the grasslands of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The capsule arrived at Beijing's Changping Railway Station around 3:30 pm, and was later taken to the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), where the capsule was manufactured.

A preliminary examination of the capsule showed its exterior was in good condition.

CAST experts will open the capsule today and conduct a more thorough examination.
