Chinese defense minister meets German counterpart

BERLIN -- Visiting Chinese Defense Minister Liang Guanglie met with his German counterpart Franz Josef Jung on Monday.

"In recent years, the Sino-German relations have developed smoothly. In the framework of the Sino-EU comprehensive strategic partnership, China and Germany has established partnership with global responsibilities," said Liang, who is also a state councilor.
