Conference on post-Olympics China to be held

LOS ANGELES -- Hua Yuan Science and Technology Association (HYSTA) announced on Friday that it will hold its highly acclaimed annual conference early next month to discuss post-Olympics China.

Entitled "China Beyond the Olympics," the conference will bring together top industry leaders and government policy makers from both Silicon Valley and China, HYSTA said in a press released.

The conference, to begin on October 4 at the Santa Clara Convention Center near San Francisco, will attract executives, high-tech professionals, investors and entrepreneurs from both the United States and China, the release said.

Representatives from world-famous companies like Yahoo, Lenovo, Synnex and China Mobile will deliver speeches at the conference, according to the release.

The gathering will feature discussions on the economic landscape of post-Olympics China and its impact at the global level, said the release, adding that participants will enjoy Keynote speeches and panel sessions such as "An Inside Look at China's Domestic Growth Engine" and "The Implications of China's Growing Economic Strength on the World Stage."

HYSTA, a leading Chinese professional association in the United States, was Founded in 1999 by a group of successful immigrant entrepreneurs, with an aim to nurture entrepreneurship and career development among technology and business professionals and facilitates networking and the exchange of business ideas between Silicon Valley and China.
