LHASA  -- A drug trafficking ring including four Filipinos and a Ghanaian were detained in the southwestern Tibet Autonomous Region, local authorities said on Thursday.

The Filipino, Jeffrey Oclares Mediario, was found with 512 grams of drugs hidden in his body, baggage and shoes at Gongga International Airport in Tibet on May 6, according to the anti-drug unit under the regional public security department.
