Pekingnese caught driving down expressway

A blue car careening down the expressway between Wuhan and Huangshi, two cities in Hubei province, was stopped by police last Monday afternoon.

To their surprise, officers discovered a white Pekingese with its front legs on the steering wheel and hind legs perched on the lap of a woman.

The woman surnamed Liu and her boyfriend were trying to teach their loyal pet to drive.

The pair were released after being educated by highway staff about proper roadside safety.
