HAIKOU -- Vincent Siew, chairman of the Taiwan-based Cross-Strait Common Market Foundation, arrived here on Friday afternoon to attend the annual conference of Boao Forum for Asia (BFA).

Siew is expected to attend a round-table conference on cross-strait trade on Sunday in Boao, a scenic town on the island province of Hainan in South China.

It is the sixth time for Siew to head the Taiwan delegation for BFA since 2003.

The 2008 BFA annual meeting will be held from Friday to Sunday with the theme of "Green Asia: Moving Towards Win-Win Through Changes".
