Lanzhou resident Wang Fei married his US bride Lisa in a traditional Chinese ceremony on Sunday in the Gansu provincial capital.

The bride, in a cheongsam and tiara, was carried in a sedan chair by eight bearers in traditional dress, while 16 musicians played suona horns.

The two met when they were working in Canada, but returned to Lanzhou for the wedding as the bride is keen on Chinese culture and wanted a traditional wedding.
