A man in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, stole a motorbike and rode it to meet his date. She happened to be the owner of the bike and shopped him to the police.

The man, surnamed Dai, 34, recently met the woman, surnamed Lin, 30, through a friend.

Last week, Lin went to the supermarket and left her bike outside, from where it was stolen.

When Dai arrived the next day for their date she saw him riding her bike. Furious, she reported him to police.
