The owner of a convenience shop in Shenyang of northeast China's Liaoning Province saw two dogs lying at the entrance of the residential complex where his store was located on Tuesday night but found the pair of canines rest in front of his store.

The two dogs, one white and the other yellow, were inseparable after the yellow one broke its left rear leg. The residents saw the white dog sit beside its pal and even pushed the injured dog with its nose and paws to a cooler place when the sun shone on them.

They ate and drank food and water donated by passing residents. But if someone got too close to the injured canine to examine it, the white fido would threaten him with ferocious barks.

The shop owner said the pair must be someone's dogs because their fur was quite clean and hoped their owners could come and take them home soon.
