Car crash kills 4, injures 2 in North China

HOHHOT -- Four people were killed and two others injured when a car collided with a van on Monday on a national highway in Chifeng City, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Local police said the car carrying four people crashed into a van while people were boarding it at 2:40 p.m., killing the four in the car on the spot, while two in the van were injured.

The highway was closed for four hours due to the accident.
