LOS ANGELES _ An Air China flight landed safely early Friday at Los Angeles International Airport after the pilot reported at least one tire was blown out, authorities said.

The plane, carrying more than 200 passengers, touched down shortly before 3:30 a.m. and there were no reports of any injuries, police said.

It was unclear how many tires were involved, but tire debris was found on the runway after the emergency landing, authorities said.

It was not immediately clear if Los Angeles was the plane's final destination.
