Tech fair closes with great achievements

The 5th China (Fujian) Technology and Project Fair(TPF) closed at 6 o'clock on Wednesday. 4,757 agreements were signed with a total investment of 83.18 billion yuan, an increase of 29.7% and 19.2% respectively. Greater achievements were made than expected.

Among the successful projects, 4,235 were about transferred research results and 522 involved technical cooperation. The 5th FTPF was co-sponsored by 10 state-level ministries and Fujian government, which upgrades its scale and level.

The number of successful agreements increased greatly this year, and there were more projects involving upgrading of traditional industries, using of new material, new process, new technology and featuring environment-protection and new energy sources.

About 2,500 scholars, professionals and guests invited from home and abroad attended the 5th TPF. And during this event, cross-Straits technical and industry cooperation was highlighted.
