A man cleans up waste from a sea area where
water has turned red in Xiamen, a port city in east China's Fujian
Province Saturday, April 21, 2007. No sewage pipe has been found
along the colored coast, about three kilometers long. An oceanographer
with Xiamen University said the red sea water might be a
result of red tide, but stressed further examination
has to be carried out before a conclusion can be drawn.
