A female tiger is expected to give birth to a pair of lion-tigers in Shiyanhu Forest Park in Changsha County, Hunan Province.

An ultrasound scan revealed that the female Siberian tiger, named Hui Hui, is pregnant with twins. She is expected to give birth on April 1.

The tiger is in isolation and is being looked after by animal keepers at the park. It successfully mated with a male African lion named Ha Li in the park in early December.

It will be the first time that twin lion-tigers were born in the park.
