Nearly 100 paintings and sculptures, including some by Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall and Salvador Dali, will be displayed for free in malls and office buildings in Hong Kong starting this week through April 15.

Organized by the Opera Gallery, the free exhibition offers Hongkongers a chance to appreciate art in their daily lives, said Shirley Ben Bashat, general manager of the gallery's Hong Kong branch. For example, people can gaze at Dali's sculptures while having lunch, she said. The show of art works, valued at HK$620 million ($79.5 million), also aims to stimulate interest in art investment.
