Construction of Tibet's first overpass, Liuwu Bridge, has entered its final stage in Lhasa.

The bridge connects Lhasa's downtown area, Lhasa Railway Station and the Liuwu New Area across the Kyichu or Lhasa River.

With an investment of over 388 million yuan or 50 million US dollars, the 1,660-meter bridge will be finished and ready for traffic in April 2007.
