BEIJING -- China is going to focus its AIDS prevention work on the country's 200 million migrant workers who are more vulnerable than other groups to the deadly disease, said Hu Xiaoyi, Vice Minister of Labor and Social Security, on Friday.

China will launch a three-year education campaign to acquaint migrant workers and their families with knowledge about AIDS prevention and reduce discrimination against HIV carriers in the workplace.

It is estimated that China had about 650,000 people living with HIV/AIDS at the end of 2005.
