A Hong Kong man rolled in his bed with so much motion that he fell out of the window adjacent to the bed and plummeted nine floors on Monday morning.

However, a chimney that a restaurant on the ground floor had installed broke his fall, and he was not seriously injured.

The accident took place at a building in Yau Ma Tei.

Police said the man, who had no job, was believed to be under the influence of drugs when the incident occurred.
