The mother of a missing teenager from Qingdao, Shandong Province, fears the boy may cause harm to others.

The 16-year-old high school student, Wang, left home on Tuesday claiming he was a dragon and it was his destiny to save the world.

He had been complaining for weeks that his teachers and classmates did not understand him and insisted on leaving school.

His father scolded him and the boy left home, taking two daggers with him.

Wang's mother is concerned about what he might do as he is obsessed with wars and weapons and often talked about being a dragon.
