To prevent an outbreak of bird flu, 22 monitoring stations have been set up across Cangzhou, Hebei Province, with 100 specialists deployed to operate the system.

It enables specialists to monitor the major flight paths of migratory birds, as well as set up isolated areas to prevent people or poultry from going near the birds.

Authorities also closed down wetlands and bird markets, and disinfected local zoos and other breeding grounds for the virus within a 3-kilometre radius of the wetlands.
