Murder suspect of county head family arrested

A murder suspect in the killings of a county head and his family members in southwestern China's Guizhou Province has been arrested.

The Xinhua New Agency reported on Sunday the suspect, Cao Hui, was accused of robbery and killing a total of six people in late November.

The victims are Wen Jiangang, magistrate of Xingren County in the Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, his wife, son, mother-in-law, sister and domestic helper.

The report said several days later after Cao Hui escaped, the local police bureau arrested him and seized all robbed goods.

Cao Hui was the local president of Xingren County. Further investigation is still underway.
