Rescuers prepare to enter
the Changyuan Coal Mine in Housuo Township of Fuyuan, a mountainous county
in southwest China's Yunnan Province, Sunday, November 26, 2006, a day
after a gas explosion. The death toll from the gas explosion in the shaft
rose overnight from 20 to at least 32 miners as rescuers found more
bodies, Xinhua said. Another 28 miners were injured in the blast.
