The scale of import/export continued to rank the fifth among all the provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government in China, in which the export continued to rank the fourth and the import continued to rank the fifth. Export volume from general trade in our province reached US $ 60.239 billion, ranking the national first position. Trade surplus was US $ 41.654 billion, ranking the national first position. Dependence rate of the national economy on the foreign trade was 64.7%, and on the export, 46.3%, which had a boost of 2.0 percent points and 3.5 percent points respectively than in 2004.
