China urges Japan to abide by non-nuclear princles

China urges Japan to strictly abide by its "three non-nuclear principles" and to adopt a responsible attitude in safeguarding regional peace and stability, said Foreign Ministry spokesman office here Wednesday.

According to Kyodo News Agency, Japan's new government said Tuesday it can "legally be allowed" to possess nuclear arms as long as it is at a "necessary minimum" level for self-defense.
