Shanghai boys take to plastic surgery

To look more like pop stars, A growing number of young men in Shanghai are undergoing plastic surgery to make their faces smaller and lengthen their jaws.

According to surgeons from a local plastic surgery hospital, every day an average of 10 young men have surgery, accounting for 10 per cent of the visitors to the hospital.

Most are aged at between 18 and 26 and work in the entertainment industry or as salesmen. Some have asked to be made to look like their favourite pop stars.
