A bridegroom surnamed Liu of Chongqing Municipality came in for a pleasant surprise on his wedding day, despite a botched haircut, the Chongqing Business Daily reported.

He went to a barber before the wedding ceremony, but the careless man ended up giving him a bald head. The livid Liu, at first, wanted to ask for compensation but backed off as the barber was an old acquaintance.

He was pleased to find that his bride saw his shining pate as "novel and fashionable," adding that it would become the most romantic memory of her life.
