Fully equipped rescuers prepare to conduct their search and rescue work
in a coal mine in Miquan City, Northwest China's Xinjiang Autonomous Region October
28, 2006. Four gas explosions in a row on Saturday morning at the coal mine
left 14 workers who had been trapped underground dead. Rescuers have found the
bodies of all the 14 miners and the local government has started to compensate
