Beggars recruiting beauties in the street

The behaviour artist (R),
identified as Bi Te, is on a mobile phone talk as several beggars rest on
doorsteps in in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province on Tuesday, Oct. 10 2006. The beggars were paid 20 yuan (US$2.5) an hour
by the behaviour artist to perform the job, holding up signs to
recruit female models for a company. Chinese leaders in Beijing wrap up an annual
four-day meeting of the roughly 350-person Central Committee meant to take up
