Old, large gun found amidst bulldozed house

An old hunting gun was found after an old house was bulldozed in Leitang Village in Liucheng County of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Monday.

The gun measures 223 centimetres in length and weighs more than 15 kilograms.

The gun is said to have been made in 1921. Its owner, surnamed Hu, said he would hand the special gun to a local museum.

In addition to hunting, the gun was used by Hu's family to fight local bandits and Japanese invaders from the 1920s to 1940s. It has since become rusty and is currently being displayed at Hu's new home, attracting many viewers everyday.
